RSA SecurID Authentication Agents
The Largest Two-factor Partner Ecosystem Worldwide
Overview:
RSA SecurID Authentication Agents: Software that intercepts remote-access and local requests from users or groups of users and directs them to the RSA Authentication Manager server for authentication. Once users are verified, permission to access secure applications is granted.

RSA SecurID Authentication Agent 6.0 for PAMPluggable Authentication Module (PAM) for UNIX and Linux allows the integration of various authentication technologies such as UNIX, Kerberos, RSA, smart cards, and DCE into system-entry services such as login, dtlogin, rlogin, telnet, ftp, and su, without changing any of these services. By leveraging the strength of RSA SecurID and the flexibility of PAM, organizations can eliminate security risks associated with using static passwords for user authentication. While enhancing security, the RSA SecurID solution can help organizations to reduce help-desk costs from password-related calls and to increase user productivity. |

RSA SecurID Authentication Agent 5.2 for UNIXRSA SecurID Authentication Agent 5.2 for UNIX protects UNIX environments when they are accessed via terminal services or the X Window System. Authentication Agent 5.2 for UNIX is the last in the family of Authentication Agents that is not built on the contemporary PAM architecture. Authentication Agent 5.2 for UNIX is still supported but is no longer recommended. User and Agent administration is centralized by RSA Authentication Manager. |
